PROFESSIONAL BLOGGERS

Blogs are another avenue for freelance writers.  They are easy to set up and their design is simplified due to the availability of good software and ready to use templates.  Blogs are tools writers can use to showcase their work, promote their books, editorial skills and keep readers informed by supplying information on varying subjects of interest.

A blog is simply a shortened version of the term for "web log".  Weblogs can be used by people for personal Web Sites of links to information of special interest.  This is often interspersed with information, editorializing and personal opinions on the subject matter.  A good weblog is updated often, with pointers of interest on a particular subject written in the style of the writer.  New information or expanded subject sources or updated sites of interest are updated regularly and older blogs at the bottom in chronological order.  A weblog is a continuing monologue of a personal or a subject that supplies information, keeping it up-to-date constantly.
Point of Fact:
1. A weblog contains multiple posts of text, images and data
2. A weblog is arranged in chronological order with the most recent post first
3. A weblog includes informed comments from the readers
4. A weblog contains links to useful, related blogs and content
5. A weblog is a point of reference for informed individuals to combine knowledge.

Blogs are groundbreaking sources in the field of information exchange

A single blog can increase to other related subjects offering a new revenue to the point of incorporating into a company that its sole purpose is supplying information.  This is viable and has a proven track record of bringing in up to a million or more in the first year of business.

Keeping this in mind, there are companies that employ over 100 bloggers on their payroll, with assets in the millions for supplying information to billions of readers and companies.

It is possible to earn good money with just one blog.  Keeping in mind the subject matter and a loyal following of several thousands of readers.

This is where I am ending this for today, but I will continue this subject.  Look for the next installment of, "GETTING STARTED"   I will supply you with the most up-to-date information available and give you the tools you need to get started.

STILL WAITING FOR PAYMENT FROM PUBLISHERS ???

If you submit your work and are waiting for payment that is long over due, I have found someone to help you collect.   She is a writer dedicated to helping other writers collect payment for their work.  Go to this site and read for yourself the letters she has written to publishers who don't pay writers.  http://www.writersweekly.com/ ..

Writers Weekly is an online publication by the successful writer and editor Angela Hoy.  I have found a great deal of help at this site, there are articles by published writers that offer insight into the world of writing and give you links that are helpful.   Along with that, you'll find an excellent writers markets and job listings.   Beyond this you will find a section entitled, "Whispers and Warnings"  this is where you'll find a listing of deadbeat publishers.

Angela Hoy is the only writer that has helped so many collect payment for their work.  On this site you'll find the names of the magazines and the editors who pay late or not at all.   Angela Hoy writes to them with the complaints she receives from writers and you can read these letters at Writers Weekly.   When publishers are exposed for non-payment, they know this can cause problems for them, if they are going to stay in business.   Many writers have received  payment because of Angela Hoy and I want to pass this along.

I check with Writers Weekly when I find magazines that are new or unknown,  before sending in my work.   If you want to know what's happening in the publishing world, check this site.   I have come to rely on the information I get there, also there is no charge for this service.

That's all for today and I hope to hear from you when you check this site.  I know you won't be disappointed with what you fine there.
