NEW SWEEPSTAKES AND CONTESTS
This time I'm going to give you two sites that run contests every month. Should I come across more of the same, I'll add them on under these two which I'll list now with details and links.
The first one is SPIRIT MAGAZINE, http://www.spiritmag.com/
Here you will find four or five sweepstakes every month. The prizes are vacations and various winnings like a bike or tickets to shows, but you decide which you want to enter. You can enter them all or just the ones that appeal to you. Mostly they want a letter about vacations and tips to getting most out of yours. Sometimes they want a letter complimenting acts or places and other times they want vacation photos.

2. Weekend at San Manuel Casino
3. Weekend in Vegas with tickets to Chris Angel Show.

The first three include transportation, via Spirit Airlines and hotel. Casino includes $ 200.00 in chips.
Now I think the scales are tipped in your favor if you are a writer, you can put together a knock out letter and win a vacation. All prizes are for two people.
Check their magazine every month to see what the prizes are, while this is not a contest for writers, as a writer you can compose a skillful letter. I wish you all the best!

BEST CHILDREN'S STORIES !!
Go to http://www.smores.com/ for details. They have a listing for different age groups, like 2 to 4 year old and so on. Each month they choose 50 stories and put them on line, the viewers vote for the stories they like best. I think with this contest you need a title that will catch the viewers eye. No one will read 50 stories, but if you can come up with a title to catch their interest, you'll have a better chance of winning.
First Prize $ 1,000.00, Second Prize $ 500.00 and Third Prize is $250.00.
I would jump on this competition right away, Smores is known to run the contests for a month or two then cancel it. Don't wait, enter now to cash in on the prize money and best wishes to all.
